Welcome to Adult Dance Classes!

We offer contemporary, ballet, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, tap, swing and ballroom dance classes for adults of all ages and experience levels. Many of our adult ballet classes are accompanied by live piano music.

Our experienced faculty members are passionate about dance and are dedicated to helping each student achieve their goals. Dance is not only a fun and fulfilling activity, but also a great way to improve fitness, balance, coordination, and overall well-being.

Our classes are a great way to meet new people and connect with others who share your love of dance. We welcome students of all social genders and gender identities, at all levels of training, in our warm and supportive environment.

Class Pricing

Please purchase classes online before taking a class. Classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive early to ensure your space!

Adult single-class rate is $25 per class

A single virtual class is $15

A 10-class card is $225 and is valid for four months

A 30-class card is $645 and is valid for six months

Monthly Unlimited Class Pass is $450 and is valid for 30 days. Email [email protected] to register.

Adult Ballet

Absolute Beginner Ballet

A safe and welcoming class for absolute beginners or those returning to ballet who wish to learn the fundamentals of ballet in a progressive syllabus designed for adult learners.

Beginner Ballet

Class is designed for students with an understanding of ballet basics who wish to improve upon fluency in vocabulary, strength, and flexibility. Classes are taught at a slower tempo with repetition and progressive combinations from barre to center work.

Advanced Beginner Ballet

Class is designed for students who wish to improve their stamina and speed, with more complex and longer exercises at barre and center.

Intermediate Ballet

For the intermediate and advanced dancer who has achieved a high level of ballet technique. Exercises are developed with open interpretation for musicality and require a fluency in ballet terminology.

Pointe

For the advanced beginner and intermediate dancer who wishes to progress their training from flat to pointe. Pointe work requires extreme focus, strength, coordination, and control of the whole dancer.

Variations/Character

Dancers will learn repertoire from the classical ballet canon in Variations class. Character class will focus on waltz, mazurkas, polonaise, etc.

Adult Tap

Absolute Beginner Tap

A safe and welcoming class for absolute beginners or those returning to tap who wish to learn the fundamentals, vocabulary, and technique. Attention is given to both sound/musicality and movement

Beginner Tap

Class is designed for students with an understanding of tap basics who wish to improve upon fluency in technique, vocabulary, and musicality. Classes are taught at a slower tempo with repetition and short combinations.

Advanced Beginner Tap

This level is for tap dancers who have had more than a year of consistent training. The class explores longer combinations and more complex sounds and movements

Open Tap

Open Tap is available for any level tap dancer who wishes to continue their training and practice of technique. Teachers will adjust combinations to the level of students in each class. Open to all levels

Contemporary

Based in ballet and modern techniques, contemporary classes offer students an opportunity to further explore their artistry. Classes begin with a warm up at center followed by a choreographed combination. Open to all levels.

Jazz

Jazz is an evolving dance term encompassing syncopated rhythms, percussive and individualistic movement rooted in African dance that has made its way through Vaudeville, Broadway, Tap, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop and Pop forms. Classes begin with a warm up at center followed by a choreographed combination. Open to all levels.

Hip Hop

Hip hop is fusion of various dance form deeply rooted in street dance and art with highly stylized choreography to hip hop music. Several styles exist and can encompass isolations, bouncing, rocking, breaking, and freestyling. Classes may start with a short warm up followed by extensive choreography based on level of students.

Musical Theater

Musical theatre dance explores jazz, ballet, and modern choreography as seen and expressed through Broadway and Vaudeville dance numbers. Classes explore musicality, acting, and stylistic choreography. Open to all levels.

Modern Techniques

Modern dance techniques is an art form that explores abstract movements and shapes to express ideas and emotions. Classes may begin with a short warm up followed by a choreographed combination at center. Open to all levels.

Pilates for Dance

Pilates for Dance targets core and abdominal strengthening and lengthening along with general flexibility and stretch. While not exclusive to dancers, this class focuses on muscle groups often utilized by dancers. Open to all levels.

Kpop Dance

Kpop dance is a fusion of hip hop, jazz, funk and other dynamic dance styles choreographed to Korean Pop Music. The class is open to students 13+ and adults of all levels.
