Kids, teens and adults can all take advantage of our professional art studios and expert art faculty. We offer classes for the beginner, those just exploring an interest in the arts and the more advanced student.

Drawing & Painting with Pat 1

Ages 7-10  years. We will incorporate basic principles of art in various media. Students learn specific techniques in drawing and painting to help develop their own styles.

Summer Arts Center (SAC)

Where campers pursue their passions in art, music, theatre, and dance. The joy of creative expression is what our unique Summer Arts Center (SAC) is all about. The only program of its kind in lower Westchester, SAC provides an opportunity for campers to focus on art, dance or theatre as a major, while taking electives in disciplines outside their major.
For campers entering grades 2-8
Taught by professional, adult artists/instructors
No previous experience necessary
Each Camper has their own customized program, built around their interests
Option to participate in end of summer performance
Option to include instructional swim and/or gymnastics

Ceramic Pottery Workshop


Open to potters and sculptors of all levels. In a short time you will create personalized pieces to adorn your home or give as gifts. Instruction is individualized.

Painting and Mixed Media

Open to all students who wish to explore their creativity. Instruction included in the following: oil, acrylic or water color painting, collage and basic drawing. Individual instruction given. Work at your own pace. Students bring supplies to class.

Art Gallery

The Art Gallery at the JCCMW was generously endowed by Marjorie and Norman Alexander. It is a showcase for community artists, both professional and amateur. In addition, the Art School uses this gallery for faculty and student shows. Art Internships

The Art Department at JCCMW has a vibrant internship program for High School students seeking to fulfill their school’s community service requirements. Students will assist instructors in our after school children’s art classes or in our Drop in Art Studio. To arrange an interview, please call the Art Director.
