Our Staff

In addition to teaching fundamental skills and progressions, our staff is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all athletes. We prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of our athletes, and work to ensure that everyone feels welcomed and supported in our gym.

Our coaching philosophy is centered around developing well-rounded gymnasts, who not only excel in the sport, but also demonstrate strong character and sportsmanship. We believe that gymnastics can be a transformative experience, and strive to create opportunities for our athletes to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential.

Through our coaching and mentorship, we aim to inspire a lifelong love for gymnastics and a commitment to healthy, active living. We are constantly learning and improving our teaching methods, and are passionate about staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices in the sport.

Annual Curriculum

At JCCMW, we understand the importance of a structured and comprehensive training program. That's why we follow annual curriculum that allows our athletes to focus on the specific skills they need to excel in gymnastics.

By breaking down each skill into manageable progressions, we ensure that athletes can build a strong foundation before moving onto more advanced techniques.

In addition to skill development, our curriculum also includes conditioning exercises, flexibility training, and injury prevention techniques. By incorporating these elements into our training program, we aim to help athletes improve their overall fitness and reduce the risk of injury.

Safety is our top priority. That's why all of our staff are highly qualified and certified by USA Gymnastics, the national governing body for the sport in the United States. Our coaches hold certifications ranging from recreational-level coaching through competitive-coach training, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to teach athletes of all levels. You can trust that your child is in good hands when they train with us.

Gymnastics Birthday Parties

Looking to make your child's birthday party extra special this year? Our carefully curated gymnastics parties offer a unique party experience that ensure all guests have a memorable and fun time!

Hosted every Sunday from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, our gymnastic parties include specially customized gymnastic events, obstacle courses, and group activities, followed by a traditional celebration in our dedicated party room.

Our attentive party coordinator makes the entire celebration hassle-free and easy for you by overseeing the setup and cleanup, and making sure activities proceed in a timely manner.

Professional gymnastics coaches instruct and oversee all activities in the gym, ensuring everyone's safety.

Plus, every guest receives a JCCMW gymnastics goodie bag!

Parties are available for children turning 3 years or older. The maximum number of party guests for children turning 3 or 4 is 20. For children ages 5+, we can accommodate up to 30 guests with advanced notice.

All children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Parties cost $800 and include 20 children and the birthday gymnast. Each additional child is $20 (for up to 30 kids). A $300 non-refundable deposit must accompany the reservation to secure the party date. (Gratuity is not included for the staff but is always greatly appreciated.)

The party coordinator will be available for set up, guidance, food service, and clean up, and gymnastics staff will run the gymnastics portion of the party.

Parents/Guardians are responsible for food and party supplies. Please note: all food at the party must adhere to the Kashrut and Nut Policy of the JCC.

All party guests receive a special JCCMW gymnastics goodie bag!

Parties are available on Sundays, 3:30–5:30 PM.

  • 3:00–3:30 PM: Families may decorate the party room.
  • 3:30–3:45 PM: Guests arrive and gather in the party room
  • 3:45–4:45 PM: Fun in the gym (stretch, obstacle course, birthday gymnast's favorite two events, game, group picture)
  • 4:45–5:30 PM: Guests return to the party room to enjoy food and cake.

Rules and Policies

JCC Gymnastics General Policies

  • Respect the coaches, your classmates, and the gym.
  • Hair must be tied back tightly and securely, out of the participant’s face
  • Leotards are preferred for girls over five years of age, but tight-fitting clothing is acceptable.
    • No socks are to be worn in the gym.
    • No loose-fitting shirts, baggy shorts or pants, skirts, dresses, or jeans.
    • Spaghetti strap tanks are also not acceptable as they pose a safety risk
  • Formfitting tees and shorts are preferred and highly recommended for all male gymnasts.
    • Long, fitted athletic pants are also permitted.
    • NO socks, tights, jeans, or loose-fitting clothing.
  • No jewelry should be worn in the gym, especially dangling earrings, bulky bracelets, or necklaces of any kind.
  • No headbands or hats.
  • No food or drink is allowed in the gym, with the exception of a water bottle.
  • Do not leave your group without your coach’s permission.
  • Wait your turn on designated spaces.
  • Stay with your group and coach at all times while in the gym.
  • While bathrooms will be accessible, please be sure to have your children use the bathroom before coming to the JCC to avoid missed class time.
  • Participants should bring minimal belongings into the JCC.
  • Only street clothes, outerwear, shoes, water bottle, and any necessary medical supplies should be brought into the JCC.
  • Stay safe and have fun!

JCC Gymnastics Rules of the Gym

  • Participants should bring a labeled water bottle, as water fountains will be closed.
  • Makeups for canceled classes will be determined at the end of each session. We are not able to offer makeups for missed classes.
  • Your gymnast should arrive dressed and ready to go for class, as we will not have enough time or extra staff to escort everyone to the locker rooms to change.
  • We will have lockers available for use during larger classes.
  • Participants will be assigned a locker on the first day to ease the process of locating a space for their belongings
