APP Lecture: Exploring Jewish Fears and Folklore

This class will build on our exploration of fantastic creatures in Judaism (though prior attendance is not necessary as a foundation for this course) and the origins and variety of superstitions in Jewish culture from around the world.

About the Lecturer

Tamar Arnowitz lives in Mamaroneck, New York, with her husband, Rabbi Jeffrey Arnowitz, their four boys and two dogs. She has a BA in Economics from Wellesley College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Tami has also studied at Hebrew University and the Conservative Yeshiva.
