Meet our Personal Trainers

Cathy Florakis
Cathy Florakis is a Nationally Certified Personal Fitness Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor, certified by ACE (American Council on Exercise.  She is a Senior Fitness Specialist and a graduate of Focus Personal Training Institute in Manhattan. She is also the Health and Fitness Liaison at the JCC of Mid-Westchester. Cathy’s prescription for a healthy mind and body are daily exercise along with a healthy diet. She specializes in providing safe, fun, and effective custom, goal specific fitness programs designed for optimal results.  Cathy has been a featured speaker for organizations such as: Young at Heart, Young Spirit, and Ladies Philoptochos.  Cathy became a personal trainer after completing several marathons, sprint triathlons, and bike centurions. Susan Horn
Susan Horn is a personal trainer certified by AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America).  Susan is a life-long fitness and sports enthusiast, who was inspired to become a trainer by “Buns of Steel” star, Tamilee Webb.  Horn enjoys working with a varied clientele ranging from senior citizens to adolescents, and has worked at gyms from BodyWerx to the JCC. This is her 15th year working at the JCC.


Saskia Mossel
Saskia Mossel is a personal trainer certified by AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America). Born in the Netherlands, she is now proudly an American citizen. Saskia is a certified Schwinn Indoor Spinning Instructor. She specializes in strengthtraining, fitness testing assessment, core training, exercising for chronic disabilities, flexibility, balance and coordination. She is passionate about helping those who have had therapy continue their exercise programs at the gym. Saskia loves indoor sports and speaks French fluently.

Sadari Neville
Sadari Neville is the Personal Training and Group Fitness Coordinator at the JCC. She is also an equestrian and a dancer.  She’s been a group fitness professional and personal trainer for more than seven years, at facilities including Crunch and Healthy Fit, and is certified through several organizations including AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and Beach Body Fitness(Insanity). Neville enjoys tailoring fitness programs to clients’ goals and needs, integrating strengthtraining, cardio, yoga, and Pilates.


Dierdre Pachon
Dierdre Pachon has been a personal trainer certified by AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) since 1992. She enjoys motivating her clients to make healthy lifestyle changes. Dierdre’s philosophy is “Regardless of your goals, the best exercises are the ones you’re willing to do regularly at a level of intensity that is slightly past your comfort zone.” She uses this philosophy to help design individual fitness routines and influence her clients to keep up.


Joseph Rega
Rega is certified by Expert Rating.  For the past 20 years, Joseph educated himself on nutrition and methods of training.  Rega has worked with both adults and adolescents, designing programs to help clients reach their fitness goals safely and efficiently.  Whether helping clients build lean muscle mass, lose weight, or improve body alignment, Joe enjoys working with a varied clientele. Joseph’s fitness philosophy is, “Believe and you’re halfway there.”
