For over 40 years, the JCC has introduced children to the joy of summer camping.  Our highly trained staff provides the perfect welcome for first-time campers and for children who thrive in a non-competitive, stress-free environment.

Fitness Center discounts available with enrollment in the JCC Summer Camps.


Camp Gadol

2 yrs – entering grade 4
Traditional day camp introduces campers to a variety of professionally led activities and weekly special events including instructional and recreational swim in our heated indoor pool (sprinkler activities for ages 2-3), gymnastics, a variety of different sports activities, arts & crafts, nature, elective afternoons (grades 2-4) and much more. Early drop off/late pick up available.

Summer Arts Center (SAC)

For campers entering grades 2-8
SAC was developed for the creative and independent child who is interested in the arts. Campers create a custom schedule of up to 20 different classes/week (4/day), all taught by professionals in the field.



Dance Intensive Camp

For campers entering grades 6 and up
The serious and experienced dance student will enjoy a comprehensive curriculum of dance and dance-related classes taught by professionals.



Toward Tomorrow

For children 3-5 years

The Toward Tomorrow program provides children 3-5 years with developmental needs a nurturing learning and recreational summer experience. School District approval is required for acceptance. Half-day and Full-day options are available. Inclusion opportunities in collaboration with Camp Gadol are available.


CIT/LIT Program

For teens ages 14 &15

The CIT/LIT Experience offers teens the opportunity to gain hands-on counselor training and leadership experience with social action initiatives and weekly trips. CITs that successfully complete our summer program may be invited back as a junior counselor.







Come For a Ride on the TEKI Roller Coaster
2nd – 8th graders (children will be grouped by age)
7 Wednesdays, June 28 – August 9 • 4:15pm – 5:15pm
Build the most adventurous tracks and vertical loops while learning the physics behind roller coaster design.

A Week-long Fashion Experience
7th and 8th graders
Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14 • 8:00am – 5:00pm
Take a class at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and visit leading fashion industry companies, all under the supervision of JCCMW trusted staff. Campers will choose a class such as: Digital Photography, Rendering Fabrics, Faces and Figures, Junior Fashion Trends, etc. A Kosher-supervised lunch is provided. Transportation included.
$500 for SAC campers registered for 2 or more weeks
$1500 for non-SAC campers

6 – 11 years old
Monday, August 14 – Friday, August 18 • 9:30am – 3:00pm
Add a week of theatre to your summer. JCCMW is teaming up with TADA!, a unique Drama Desk award-winning non-profit youth theater from NYC that produces original musicals for children, teens, and family audiences. With TADA!’s Professional Teaching Artists, campers will create and perform an original mini-musical in just five days!

Super Soccer Stars Week at the JCC
The JCCMW is partnering with Super Soccer Stars to bring campers a fun-filled soccer week plus other activities with two half-day camps:

Mini Camp: 9:30am – 12: 00pm for 2½ – 5 years old

Kick It!: 1:00pm – 5:00pm for 6–12 years old


Preschool “Dancin’ n Prancin’ and Mini Manets”
3 – 5 years old
Monday, August 14 – Friday, August 18 • 9:00am – 11:30am
Song, movement, and art create a fun-filled morning for ages 3–5. Stretch your muscles, imagination, and artistic expression! Instructor: Kerri LuBell
Fee: $300 for all 5 days. $75 per day.

Robotics Week in partnership with TEKI LLC
2nd – 6th graders
Monday, August 21 – Friday, August 25 • 9:00am – 3:00pm
Campers will use EV3 LEGO Robotics to learn how to build and program a variety of projects. Each project will begin with a robotics research simulation question in which campers will be guided through the building and programming of a new solution, with an emphasis on problem solving and teamwork. The day will be rounded out with recreational activities, including swim on select days. Campers will be grouped by age. Kosher lunch and snacks provided.

Just Gymnastics Summer Training
5 – 16 years old
Monday, August 21 – Friday, August 25 • 9:00am – 3:00pm
We are flipping out over our NEW Gymnastics Training. The JCCMW will be offering Gymnastics for all levels and backgrounds, ages 5–16. After an evaluation, your child will be placed in their appropriate group for the week. This is the perfect way to explore and/or develop your child’s gymnastics abilities. A Kosher-supervised lunch will be provided daily. Please pack Kosher/nut-free snacks. Recreational activities will be incorporated. Proper Gymnastics attire is required.
$595-full week, no single day option.

92|Y CAMP ilanot – The closest experience to a summer in Israel–and all in Hebrew!
Entering K – 6th graders
June 28 – August 18
The JCCMW is partnering with 92|Y as a drop-off and pick-up point for all campers interested in Camp ilanot. Located in Rockland County on a 50-acre campground. With rock climbing, a three-pool complex, boating, ceramics, native Hebrew-speaking counselors and Israeli cultural programming, your child will get the best of both worlds: the spirit of Israel and the infrastructure of a proven expert in American camping and Hebrew language skills. Caryn Symons, Director of Camping

caryn-headshot-for-webThis is Caryn’s eighth year as Director of Camping at the JCC. Caryn is no stranger to the JCC. In addition to 13 years as a teacher of all ages in the Nursery School, and Nursery school Director since 2015, she was a Head Counselor at Camp Gadol for four years prior to becoming Director of Camping in 2010. She brings to camp a love of children and her own brand of creativity, enthusiasm and community spirit that will enrich each child’s camp experience. Caryn received her Masters Degree in Education from Queens College and was an award winning High School Guidance Counselor before raising her two sons, who are both alumni of the JCC Nursery School and Camp.
