Learning Supported Through Play

Early childhood education is a big step toward fostering a lifelong love of learning and exploration for your child. We will support your child’s social and emotional growth with a program guided by Jewish values and culture.

The JCCMW’s experienced, background-checked teachers encourage socialization and early learning. Our play-based learning model means playing with paint, Play-doh, sand, and toys designed for large and small motor play. Each day also includes engaging stories and music.

Choose from several schedules for your convenience:

  • Your choice of three to five mornings a week for Twos and Threes
  • Optional afternoon enrichment programs for Threes and Fours, each weekday exploring a different theme
  • Early arrival and late pickup available

Special Activities

Our students enjoy learning to swim in our indoor heated pool, working off energy in our full-sized gymnasium, and climbing in our playground.

Families participate in our annual pajama party, art show, holiday parties, school visit day, and other fun events. They are also invited to share a Friday Shabbat with their child’s class.

Fours Program

orange-grad-sep

Children in our Fours program learn through imaginative play, center-based exploration, and the use of various modalities of toys. Children enhance their attention skills by focusing for increased periods of time on activities such as journaling, handwriting skills, and hands-on exploration. Children become independent thinkers who are comfortable with transitions and routines.

Kindergarten-readiness skills are at the forefront of our Fours program. We follow the Get Set School® curriculum, which is part of Learning without Tears™. Our students love it!
