We created the Small Steps and Smaller Steps programs to meet the needs of the youngest members of our community. They are a great way to meet other local toddlers and caregivers. The programs are designed to promote socialization and play, which are key components of development. They include music, Storytime, movement, playtime, and sensory-related experiences such as art, while enhancing social awareness and language development.
The Little Learners program introduces toddlers and caregivers to a simplified, pre–nursery school experience appropriate for the age level. This program helps the very young child learn to become part of a group. The teachers work closely with the children to provide an atmosphere that leads to a happy separation, improved verbalization, a readiness for socialization, and a lot of fun. Their gentle support and encouragement are the foundation for a successful transition to nursery school.
All programs are at our White Plains location at 280 Old Mamaroneck Road.
