Shavuot: The Colors at Sinai

The Lord said to Moses: “Go unto the people . . . and be ready for the third day; for on the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.” On the third day, as morning dawned, there was thunder and lightning.

On Shavuot we honor the receiving of the Ten Commandments on Mt. Sinai.  Join us for a thought-provoking discussion about the Israelites’ experience when the storm gathered above the mountain and the lessons they learned. Light refreshments will be provided.

Jacob Nurick, adult engagement manager at JCCMW, holds a master’s degree in Jewish education from The Jewish Theological Seminary and a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he combined his love of theater with his passion for Jewish storytelling.
