Welcome to Summer Days at the J!
Summer Days at the J, our signature summer camp that won Best of Westchester 2024, cultivates a community united by curiosity, discovery, and creativity. As part of our nurturing family, campers embrace the key Jewish values of responsibility, respect, and care for others.
Our Explorers program, designed for toddlers through kindergarteners, offers a range of outdoor and indoor activities to spark new interests, friendships, and fun in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
Rising first to sixth graders will participate in our new Adventurers program, which allows them the opportunity to choose their morning focus—Aquatics, Gymnastics, STEAM, or Dance & Performing Arts—and explore all of our other indoor and outdoor activities in the afternoons.
We offer flexible scheduling for all ages, including full-summer, half-summer, and weekly options, plus early care for all ages and after care for all campers staying a full day.
Early Bird savings on full-session registration ends September 30, 2024!

Gymnastics
Our Gymnastics Adventure allows young athletes of all levels and backgrounds to stay active, learn new skills, and have fun.
Led by experienced coaches in a supportive and encouraging environment, with safety as our top priority, gymnasts will have the opportunity to explore a variety of activities and exercises, including balance beam, bars, vault, and floor routines, Tumble Trak, and gymnastics games.
Dance & Performing Arts
Our Dance & Performing Arts Adventure will feature comprehensive and individualized dance and musical theater training by industry professionals, culminating in a student-produced summer showcase.
Classes focus on building a strong ballet foundation and exploring jazz, modern, musical theater, and contemporary dance, along with drama, playwriting, and voice. Theater professionals in each discipline will share their experiences and expertise to cultivate individual development and a passion for the arts.
Aquatics
Our Aquatics Adventure is ideal for swimmers of all levels: those just learning and experienced swimmers looking for stroke refinement.
Using the framework of the Red Cross Learn to Swim program, swimmers will participate in the perfect balance of instruction and free swim, led by experienced instructors and monitored by our American Red Cross–trained lifeguard staff in a safe, supportive, and motivating environment.
Campers will spend their mornings growing their confidence in and out of the pool through their exploration of both basic and advanced swim activities.
STEAM
Our STEAM Adventure is perfect for kids who are curious about the world around them. Campers will enjoy exploring the world of science and technology through hands-on experiments and stimulating activities designed to inspire their curiosity about our world. They will learn about robotics, outerspace, chemistry, physics, and much more.

Financial FAQ
Any camp registration options that total greater than $1,000, will be paid in two installments. One installment will be the initial deposit, and the second will be the remaining balance due by June 1, 2025.
Any camp registration option that is less than $1,000 will have to be paid in full on the registration date.
The registration options are set up on an individual basis. If you sign up for multiple registration options under $1,000 but that in total are greater than $1,000, the entire balance will be due.
For example, if you sign up for multiple weeks with our weekly option registration, the total may be more than $1,000. The total registration will have to be paid at that time.
For parents that have a total registration balance of greater than $1,000, the deposit will be $1,000.
JCCMW does not give refunds unless JCCMW permanently cancels the program/class/event. No refund, discount, or credit is given for absence due to illness, holidays, or vacations taken by families, inclement weather closing, or any other circumstances.
The only exceptions to this are:
1) The patron provides a documented medical disability signed by a medical practitioner as the reason for withdrawal from the program.
2) Prorated requests for families/individuals who are moving away from the area (more than 30 miles).
Requests for the above refunds will be considered only if: i) The account is paid and up-to-date; and (ii) A written request for a prorated refund is submitted to the director for their approval.
Refunds of less than $500 are subject to a $35 processing fee and refunds greater than $500 to a $50 processing fee (fee is subject to change at any time). JCCMW will make every effort to satisfy all requests and reserves the right to take up to 30 days to reply to requests.
If the camp director believes that my child is not benefiting from their experience, it is JCCMW's privilege to request that the child be withdrawn. In this event, tuition will be prorated from the date of such withdrawal, minus a $50 administrative fee.
JCCMW reserves the right to modify this policy at any time in its sole discretion to adapt to changing circumstances and business needs, consistent with its commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
We offer an early bird discount for early enrollment through September 25, 2024, and a sibling discount of five percent for siblings enrolled in camp during the same time periods.
