Parent Ambassador

Your Guide to Jewish Community

we are happy you are here

Welcome to Our Community!

The JCCMW wants to personally welcome parents raising young Jewish children in central and lower Westchester into our community with our Parent Ambassador program.

Our parent ambassador's goal is to help connect you to other families in your neighborhood, local programming, and the Jewish community.

Parents will have the opportunity to meet with our parent ambassador over coffee or virtually. She will help curate exciting family activities available for your little ones.

About Liz Miller

orange-grad-sep

Liz Miller is excited to join the JCC Mid-Westchester as our new parent ambassador, a position generously funded by UJA.

A native and current resident of Westchester, Liz is passionate about engaging and connecting with young Jewish families. Prior to the JCCMW, Liz initiated and organized bimonthly Tot Shabbat programs and other Jewish holiday events for young children at the Stanton Street Shul on the Lower East Side, where she was a congregant.

Liz is an assistant professor of Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and is the mother of three school-age boys. She looks forward to planning engaging activities and connecting with other young families in the community, particularly those who are newer to Westchester and those who have children younger than five years old.
