Kalaniot (Peonies) Project
Peonies, or kalaniot (in Hebrew), are found all over southern Israel. To acknowledge that each person is more than just a number on the news, we invite you to craft a kalania out of tissue paper. We are hoping to create more than 1,200 in honor of those who died on October 7.

Yellow Ribbons Art Installation
These 108 knitted and crocheted ribbons symbolize the fervent desire for the hostages (from 10 months old to 85 years old) who are being held captive in Gaza to return home to their families.

JTutor Starts October 30!
JTutor is our tutoring program, where adult and teen volunteers provide general homework and reading help for children in grades K–5 within our JCCMW community.
