Lunch & Learn: The Ladies of Television
In the early days of television, male figures dominated the small screen, but a surprising number of women emerged, defying the norms of the late 1940s and early 1950s. Among them, Betty White stands as the enduring icon, alongside the likes of Gertrude Berg, Hazel Scott, Dagmar, Faye Emerson, Martha Rountree, and Lucille Ball.
Join us to celebrate these trailblazing women of television history and enjoy a lunch reminiscent of TV dinners, featuring a vegetable lasagna accompanied by all the classic sides!
Admission: $10; free for Senior Members
