Capturing the SPARK of Robin Williams: Film Screening & Panel Discussion

We invite you to join us for a special viewing of the film SPARK: Robin Williams and His Battle with Lewy Body Dementia. SPARK is a 45-minute educational adaptation of the documentary Robin’s Wish, produced by Lewy Body Disease Association, which delves into the life of Robin Williams and his courageous battle with LBD, a complex and often underdiagnosed condition that affects both cognitive and motor functions.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with David Zucker, Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley, NY Chapter, and Dr. Jason Cohen.

Refreshments will be served.

About the Panelists

Dr. Jason A. Cohen is a neurologist based in Yonkers, New York, affiliated with Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Cohen specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of brain and nervous system disorders. His clinical focus includes caring for older adults with cognitive impairment, including conditions like Alzheimer’s Disease, Vascular Dementia, Lewy Body Dementia, and Frontotemporal Dementia. Dr. Cohen’s research interests center around frontotemporal dementia and the relationship between gait (walking patterns) and cognitive impairment.
David Zucker is the Westchester Community Engagement Manager of the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley, NY Chapter.
