How Saba Kept Singing: Film Screening and Discussion

Join us for a special community screening of How Saba Kept Singing, a poignant and award-winning PBS documentary. Follow the journey of singer David “Saba” Wisnia and his grandson Avi as they embark on an exploration into Saba’s past and his remarkable story of survival during the Holocaust.

This is a must-see for anyone interested in history, music, human rights, and the enduring human spirit.

 

Following the screening, award-winning singer/songwriter Avi Wisnia joins with the film’s director Sara Taksler for a Q&A about the documentary, plus a special live performance of songs from the film.

 

General Admission: $18 per person; tickets include complimentary refreshments. Accessible seats are available.
